Post Producer | Boston

PS 260 is a creative editorial and post-production space that provides award-winning work for films and commercials across all viewable platforms. Some of our client roster includes: YouTube, Smirnoff, American Express, Neutrogena, Facebook, New Balance, and more. We have offices in New York, NY, Venice, CA and Boston, MA.

Our current opening will be based out of the Boston, MA office. We are currently operating under a hybrid model - working mostly remotely, but going into the office on an as-needed basis.

The Post Producer’s job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • managing the schedules, resources and workflow for Editors and Assistant Editors;

  • tracking the post production workflow of each job to ensure timelines are met within approved budgets, avoiding potential delays or overages;

  • seeing a job through from inception to final delivery and being the main point person for the agency clients, vendors, production, etc.

  • helping estimate and bid work; negotiating costs with outside vendors; providing up-to-date job cost actuals;

  • reviewing creative scripts and storyboards and creating reels showcasing our relevant body of work;

  • greeting and welcoming clients for in-person sessions;


  • savvy knowledge of Mac system, and ActualizeIt by Filemaker

  • ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • strong communication and organization skills

  • experience scheduling staff and resources

  • 2-5 years experience in advertising or film production and a strong understanding of it’s workflows.

A big plus: experience with commercial project management and production process including offline editing, color correct, visual Fx, GFx and audio.
